Sustainable Charlbury (SusCha) principally collects information from anyone applying for grants via our website, or contacting us about a potential application. This information will be used solely for the purpose of processing grant applications, except where set out below.
The information you enter on the sign-up form creates an entry for you on our mail database. SusCha does not currently send regular emails to an email list, though it may do so in the future.
Membership is free, and you can Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the end of any email from us or by contacting us via our website or the details posted on charlbury.info. We do not share this data with anyone else unless they are engaged on the same grant project as yourself.
In the future, SusCha may decide to send occasional emails, not more than twice a month, describing what we are doing, ways our supporters can help, what we do with the money we raise, and sharing news we think may of interest. We might also ask you to help by helping at an event, or helping us publicise it.
We will not pass on your details to any other organisation or person.
How we use your data
Your data: We keep your name, email address, the name of your town or village and phone number on a secure database. We keep no sensitive data on you.
What for? To let you know of SusCha and other relevant events and for processing grant applications. We will only use your phone number if communication via email doesn’t work. We will not pass your data on to third parties without your express written consent.
On what legal basis? You have consented to our keeping your data to communicate with you, and we have a legitimate interest in holding it, which is necessary and reasonable in order to keep in touch with you, to tell you about past and planned events, and to process grant applications.
For how long? We keep your data for as long as you permit us to have it to communicate with you. If you click Unsubscribe at the end of any email we send, your entry is automatically deleted from our database.
Your rights: You have the following rights: to be informed about our collection and use of your data; to access your personal data; to correct any inaccuracies; to object to any particular use of your data; to have your data deleted in part or wholly.
For the purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation, the data controller is Sustainable Charlbury.
