There are many exciting projects happening in Charlbury that could help you reduce your carbon emissions, save energy, save money and meet people.

Do you want to reduce your home energy use ? We can visit you and undertake and energy and carbon audit based on your fuel bills and discuss what you can do to reduce your emissions.  We are developing the methodology and hope to make it available to all Charlbury residents in the near future.

Do you want to know exactly how much carbon you are responsible for and discuss ways to reduce it?  Then join our Carbon Reduction Action Group.

In conjunction with CAWAG, SusCha have helped to set up a light bulb library stocked with over 50 types of energy saving bulbs and energy monitoring equipment. You can borrow the library to try the bulbs before you buy them and ensure you have the right fitting and wattage.

Other projects which we are working on include the setting up of an organic market garden in Charlbury to produce local, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and a community composting network. Charlbury Primary School is going for silver eco-school status and we would like to work with staff and pupils to support this.

Click on the links above for more information about these projects and how you can get involved.
