Following a meeting between Sustainable Charlbury chair Liz Reason and Peter Walker of Alectron Investments, Andrew Bower of Bloombridge LLP has sent a notice of a public meeting to show off the project to local residents (according to Steve Andrews actually at the Memorial Hall).
14th January 2011
Cornbury Park Solar Farm
Alectron Investments are considering applying for planning permission for the installation of ground mounted solar panels on an area of arable land located within a field surrounded by woodland inside Cornbury Park.
A pre-application consultation exhibition will be held between 3 and 7pm on 21st January at Charlbury Town Hall. Members of the project team and from Alectron will be available to answer any questions or explain the scheme.
All members of the community are welcome to come along to see the exhibition and ask questions.
Bloombridge says it is “a new LLP targeting the acquisition of sites with the potential to create high quality, mixed use, managed environments” and Alectron Investments states it “offers fully integrated and financed Solar PV solution for installations of up to 5MW, from design, planning and installation to operation and maintenance”.
